SES Supports Team Cataratas Formula SAE

The Cataratas Formula SAE is a team from Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil, They participate in the Formula SAE Brazil (combustion category) competition representing the Western Paraná State University. The team started their formation back in 2014 through a initiative from Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students who were enthusiastic about pursuing a new challenges. The team worked hard on the development of its first prototype as well as the manufacturing of all parts and attended its first competition last December.

During their competition the team learned many lessons and all members of the team are working hard to apply their new knowledge in the design of the next prototype. Currently, the team consists of 20 members and each member plays an important part in the team by being responsible for developing a part of the prototype and managing finances, marketing, and deadlines.
