Stackpole Engineering Services is proud to announce that Adam Stackpole has joined the Stackpole Engineering Team as a Vehicle Dynamics and Simulation Engineer.
Adam was previously employed at The Lubrizol Corporation, where he supported their automotive lubricants division as a powertrain testing engineer. He was responsible for the development and execution of laboratory and field tests on passenger car, commercial vehicle, and off-highway equipment powertrains, with focused effort on verifying the performance of lubricant additive systems designed by Lubrizol. His duties included designing tests, specifying testing equipment, data acquisition, test program management, troubleshooting, data analysis and fundamental interpretation of results to key OEM partners. His work contributed to business gains, patents and publications. Prior to Lubrizol, Adam spent time in a variety of engineering roles, including time as a race engineer intern for Richard Petty Motorsports.
Adam graduated from The University of Akron, where he received his BSME in 2013. He has a passion for distance running and a competitive racing mentality from his experience as an NCAA D1 distance runner and a member of the SAE Super-mileage team. Adam is an avid fan of endurance motorsports, all Cleveland sports teams and old British cars.
